Job Description
Machine Operator / Packager Temp-to-Hire | 4 work days | $16.00-$17.00/hour (higher for candidates with prior manufacturing/machining experience) Build a Stable Career in Manufacturing — Training Provided! We're looking for reliable, mechanically-minded team members to join our production team as Machine Operators/Packagers. In this role, you'll play a key part in producing and packaging high-quality silicones, hybrid sealants, and adhesives. You'll start with hands-on packager training, building the skills to run and maintain our filling lines with confidence. What You'll Do Operate the packaging machine; disassemble, clean, and reassemble the filling line, resolving minor issues as they arise Follow production schedules, work instructions, and established processes and procedures Oversee quality checks per production schedule and/or work instructions Prepare and print labels for each job on the production schedule Use an ERP scan gun to issue material, de-issue inventory, and input production data Ensure products are assembled and packaged properly according to customer specifications and work instructions Complete paperwork to accurately record lot numbers, quantities produced, and production dates Change drums of material in and out of the drum press, load hoppers, and empty packaging containers Box filled packaging containers, tape boxes, and load boxes onto pallets
Note:
This position begins with packager training. What You Bring Reliable and consistent attendance Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Reading comprehension for batch sheets and standard operating procedures Strong mechanical skills and understanding Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work efficiently with others Physical Requirements Frequently lifts and moves up to 20 lbs. on a regular basis Occasionally lifts and moves up to 65 lbs. independently or with the assistance of a co-worker or equipmentHours:
Monday - Thursday, 7 AM - 5 PM.Breaks:
(2) 15-minute paid breaks and (1) 30-minute paid lunch.OT:
As available, Fridays, 7 AM - 3 PM.PPE:
Steel-toed or safety toed shoes, areREQUIRED.
