Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing various compounds in accordance with established guidelines and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of materials handling, laboratory practices, and adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Responsibilities Prepare and compound raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures. Operate and maintain equipment used in the compounding process, including mixers and packaging machinery. Ensure all materials are handled safely and stored properly to prevent contamination. Conduct quality checks throughout the compounding process to ensure compliance with specifications. Document all processes accurately in accordance with CGMP requirements. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency through lean manufacturing practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Familiarity with materials handling and laboratory procedures is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus. Knowledge of machining processes may be beneficial for specific compounding tasks. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles will be considered an asset. Ability to fabricate components as needed for the compounding process is desirable.
