Duties Operate and monitor machinery such as plastics blow molding machines, injection molding presses, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and robotic systems to produce high-quality plastic parts. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurement techniques to ensure products meet specifications. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on industrial equipment, including CNC machines and other manufacturing tools. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage. Set up machines according to engineering specifications, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and efficiency. Document production data, quality checks, and machine performance logs accurately for continuous improvement tracking. Follow strict safety protocols and manufacturing procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Requirements Proven experience operating plastics blow molding, injection molding, extrusion machinery, or CNC equipment in a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and robotic systems effectively. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation control. Ability to perform precision measurements using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments for quality control purposes. Experience with materials handling equipment like forklifts; certification preferred. Basic math skills for setting up machines and interpreting measurement data accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and manufacturing environments. Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is a plus. Ability to work night shifts with energy and focus in a fast-paced environment.
