Job Description

4 Day Work Week! 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 5:15PM-3:45AM (10 hour shifts) Easy Highway Access!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform packing duties (stacking and banding of product) Performing manual assembly of parts Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, Job Orders, routers and diagrams Adheres to operating procedures/instructions Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks per specification to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors Communicate process and quality improvements via CPAR system Maintain a clean and safe work station Accurately record labor and material usage in ERP system Other responsibilities as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/shipping environment Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, expectations, and procedures in manufacturing
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and perform basic math skills including counting Ability to use various tools including tape measure, dial caliper, and other hand tools Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken Basic reading skills for understanding drawings, Job Orders, and specs Able to follow directions
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for an entire shift
Personal Protective Equipment:
Safety/ Steel toe boots are required Protective equipment, such as gloves, required for specific tasks
Work Environment:
Work performed in a plant/production environment Contains any number of elements including but not limited to fiberglass/insulation material , dust, fumes, and noise.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
