Your responsibilities: This position is on second (2nd) shift, working 3:00pm - 11:00pm EST. Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies. Performs daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, positioning work area and setting parameters. Assembles, packages and ships finished parts. Puts materials and parts into the appropriate storage locations. Picks and packs parts to fill sales orders for cylinders, glands, and kits. Manages paperwork flow and picking system. Utilizes various hand tools, specialty tools, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks. Performs inspection of parts to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification. Completes various types of paperwork related to production reporting. Understands and facilitates Kanban inventory system accuracy. Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment (utilizing 5S lean principles). Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs. Completes additional duties and projects as assigned, which may include assisting in other areas of operations. Who we are looking for High School Diploma or G.E.D. Basic math and computer skills required. Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.
