Overview The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, product quality, and workplace safety. Tasks can range from simple assembly work (nuts, bolts, etc), loading/ unloading parts to jig, up to robot operation.
Responsibilities Stark up checks:
All sort up check sheets need to be understood and completed daily.
Assembly & Fabrication:
Use hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment to join components according to technical drawings or SOPs.
Machine Operation & Setup:
Prepare cell by loading raw materials and ensuring all safety guards are in place. Watch for machine malfunctions or deviations in product quality and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Quality Assurance:
Each process should be checked for visual defects (cracks, surface imperfections, etc)
Space Optimization:
Maintain the work area using 5S principles. All tools need to be put away at the end of the day, Requirements High School Diploma or GED Experience as a machine operator Attention to detail Technical Skills Strong Organization Skills Shift Monday- Friday ; 6 am - 3 pm
