Machine Operator

Thermeq Company is looking for a machine operator to operate a Plasma Tube and Pipe Cutting Machine (Bend-Tech Dragon A400). Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of running the machine.

This includes:

loading/unloading material into machine, running the CAD/CAM software, checking the quality and tolerances of the processed material, and general maintenance/trouble shooting. When not operating the machine, candidates will have the opportunity to learn and run other shop equipment and machinery (saws, shears, brakes) and other general shop work. We are looking for a candidate who can work independently after completing the initial training.

Job Requirements:

• Use of overhead crane to load material into machine
• Computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot software
• Ability to hold tolerances and check quality standards
• Maintain machine by performing periodic maintenance
• Basic math skills
• Organization of cut and uncut material Preferred Candidates Will Also Possess the

Following:

• CAD/CAM software skills
• CNC knowledge
• Basic welding experience
