Job Description

Hours:
Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm
Starting Pay:
$21.50 + 10% shift differential. This position is eligible for a $3,000.00 Sign-On Bonus! $1,500.00 after 3 months $1,500.00 after 6 months
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Blend's defect free capping per the recipe provided utilizing the blending equipment and work cell. Maintains and monitors cap blending material in the racks ensuring there is adequate supply to meet operation demand. Communicates with scheduling, purchasing and operations staff to plan and schedule batching to meet operation demand. Moves material to and from various locations throughout the plant and into storage racks via fork truck. Ensures the area is kept clean and orderly. Assists in recycling of cardboard and other waste products. Conducts or assists with physical inventory of capping material Performs additional material handling duties as needed by supervision/management. Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. 6 months in a similar position a plus Forklift Certification required Previous experience with blending equipment a plus Basic computer skills to include: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business Equal Opportunity Employer James Hardie is the industry leader in exterior home and outdoor living solutions, with a portfolio that includes fiber cement, fiber gypsum, composite and PVC decking and railing products.
