Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Fiber Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience operating fiber laser machines and will be responsible for efficiently and accurately cutting and marking various materials. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production deadlines are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain fiber laser cutting machines to fabricate parts and products according to job specifications. Set up laser machines, load materials, and adjust settings for optimal cutting results. Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine production requirements. Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality standards are met and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet customer specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the fiber laser machines to ensure optimal operation. Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Document production data and report on machine performance as required.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience operating fiber laser machines (experience with Amada is a plus). Strong understanding of laser cutting processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with CAD software and machine programming is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a manufacturing setting.
