Plasma Helper Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Manufacturing Plasma Helper to support plasma cutting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position assists Plasma Operators with material preparation, loading and unloading steel, organizing work orders, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring parts are processed according to quality specifications. Plasma Helper Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist Plasma Operators with daily production activities. Load and unload steel plates, sheets, and materials onto plasma cutting tables. Remove finished parts from cutting tables and stage materials for the next operation. Sort, identify, and organize cut parts according to work orders and customer requirements. Perform quality checks to verify dimensions, cut quality, and part identification. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required. Safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. Grind, deburr, and clean-cut parts prior to shipment or secondary operations. Maintain accurate production documentation and material tracking records. Plasma Helper Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Basic understanding of blueprints and work orders preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
