Role:
The Machine Monitor is responsible for supporting blow molding production by monitoring manufacturing equipment, recording machine performance data, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor blow molding machine performance and gather information from machine control panels. Record production data to support process improvements and operational efficiency. Monitor auxiliary equipment, including hoppers, grinders, conveyors, and air pressure testers. Clear equipment jams while following established safety procedures. Assist with machine material and product color changes. Receive parts from machinery and perform assembly duties on finished products. Conduct visual inspections to verify products meet quality specifications. Report non-conforming products to supervisors and assist with sorting and rework as needed. Perform basic testing and packaging of finished components. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 6-12 months of manufacturing experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Ability to read and communicate effectively. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor production equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
