Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner and Spotter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of fabric types, stain removal techniques, dry cleaning and commercial laundry machine operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all garments are treated, cleaned, and processed to meet our high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming garments for pre-existing damage, fabric type, and specific stain variations. Determine appropriate spotting procedures, chemical solvents, and neutralizers based on fabric stability and stain composition. Utilize professional spotting boards, steam guns, brushes, and specialized chemicals to safely eliminate stains without damaging textiles. Sort and group items by color and manufacturer cleaning codes. Load, program, and operate commercial dry cleaning machines and washers in strict compliance with safety regulations and chemical management protocols. Perform routine daily maintenance on equipment, including cleaning machine filters and lint traps. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a professional spotter or dry cleaning machine operator is highly preferred but will train an otherwise qualified candidate. High attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift laundry bundles weighing up to 30 pounds. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining precision and safety. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
