Job Description
Inspection Machine Operator - 1st and 2nd
Shift Pay:
$20.00/hourShift:
1st and 2nd shift Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspection Machine Operator to join our production team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will operate automated inspection equipment, monitor product quality, perform routine machine adjustments, and ensure all products meet company and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor inspection machinery according to established procedures. Inspect products for defects, quality issues, and compliance with specifications. Perform machine setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting as needed. Record inspection results and production data accurately. Remove defective products and notify supervisors of quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. Assist with basic preventive maintenance and machine cleaning. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or quality inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
