Meta Fab, Inc. is a Hillsboro based, family owned business that has been producing all aspects of sheet metal manufacturing for a variety of different customers and industries throughout the country. We have been growing over 35 years and are looking for a Packaging Operator to add to our production team.

Compensation:

$19.00 to $21.00 hr. (depends on experience)

• Opportunities for growth Job Description Responsibilities as a Packaging Operator include: attention to detail
• especially when completing recurring tasks. The Packaging Operator will be required to bridge the gaps between production, quality control and shipping to ensure that products are packaged accurately and timely. We Are Seeking a Candidate Who Can
• Operate packaging equipment /shrink wrapper / forklift (trained)
• Package products according to the work instructions or customer drawings
• Inspect products for quality control and report any issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate with team members . Attention to detail is a must.

• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor Qualifications
• Must be able to lift 35lbs frequently.
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Excellent work ethic and dependability
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team High School or GED certificate.

We are seeking a candidate with 0-3 year's minimum experience in a manufacturing environment. Is able to stand for approx. 8 hrs. a day, five days a week and must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities.
