Manufacturing / Printing & Label Production Description We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality labels and printed products while meeting production schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working with machinery, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Set up production equipment according to work orders and job specifications Read and interpret production documents, job tickets, and work instructions Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining production goals Monitor machine performance throughout production runs Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications Identify production defects and make machine adjustments as needed Accurately record production data, material usage, and job completion information Package finished products according to customer and company requirements Maintain proper inventory and material usage throughout production Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, or quality problems to supervisors promptly Perform routine equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance Complete required quality assurance inspections and documentation Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with housekeeping standards Follow all company safety procedures and quality control protocols Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Ability to learn and operate multiple types of production equipment Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production documents Basic math skills Ability to accurately read rulers, tape measures, scales, and other measuring devices Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under production deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable attendance and positive work ethic Preferred Backgrounds Manufacturing or production environments Printing or label manufacturing Packaging or converting operations Industrial machine operation Warehouse or assembly production Mechanical or technical production experience Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing facility Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent interaction with automated and mechanical production equipment Team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Exposure to industrial machinery, production materials, and moderate manufacturing noise Physical Requirements Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday Ability to perform repetitive production tasks for extended periods Manual dexterity for machine setup, operation, and adjustments Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Stable full-time employment with overtime opportunities On-the-job training and opportunities for advancement Cross-training on multiple production machines and equipment Team-oriented work environment focused on safety and quality Comprehensive benefits package available If you enjoy working with machinery, have a strong attention to detail, and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you.
