Job Summary:
SUMMARY:
Formulates batch recipes according to product specifications while ensuring the finished product meets all food safety and quality attributes. •Swing Shift 4:00 PM - 4:30 AM ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
Other duties may be assigned. All the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures, and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks. Responsible for the efficient and correct preparation and documentation of the batch formulas. Record data for each food product batch, such as the ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle. Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, or color. Set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, or processes ingredients according to formulas or recipes. Mix or blend ingredients, according to recipes, using a paddle or an agitator, or by controlling vats that heat and mix ingredients. Select and measure or weigh ingredients. Observe gauges and thermometers to determine if the mixing chamber temperature is within specified limits, and control the temperature. Monitor and control the process parameters which include temperature and flow rates. Adjust batch operating parameters to match incoming raw materials.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Minimum six months related experience or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Get forklift certification through Tree Top Inc.
TECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS
Accurately use a calculator and handheld scan gun.
