Under the Direction of Lead Tech Machine Operators job requirements are great mechanical skills with experience on how to troubleshoot and adjust the machinery. Skills and Specifications Monitor and ensure the packaging machine keeps running in good and smooth condition. Learn and practice how to proper start up and run extrusion machines and packaging machine. Learn and practice how to adjust machine by hands or hand tools when needed to maintain the consistent machine operation and productivity. Conduct routine quality check and ensure the products meet customer's expectations. Abide all the Safety and GMP (Good manufacturing Practice) policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Maintain excellent communication with team lead and team members Working with the Lead Tech on other assignments.

Qualifications:

Hands on mechanical skills and basic concept of machinery required Experience working in plastics or packaging industry is a plus Employees are required to stand or walk for working hours of the shift Must be 18 years or older to work in our facility Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS by hands without help Must be able to visually distinguish any visual defects Must be capable of reading and following work instructions and safety rules Must be able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must be capable of maintaining good attendance Education and/or

Experience:

Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency Minimum 5-year of manufacturing experience At least 3 years of machine operation experience or relevant mechanic related works Must understand the basic and general mechanical concept on machine adjustment and maintenance Plastics extrusion, tubing or other related industry experiences will be a BIG Plus. Food packaging manufacturing experience preferred Follows established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Handbook. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) a plus
