Packaging Technician

Pharmaceutical Packer Job Description The Packaging Technician is responsible for assembling, filling, packaging, and labeling products in a cleanroom environment. This role applies current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and the ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments while maintaining accurate documentation and computer-based records. Responsibilities Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all daily activities. Comply with all safety regulations and perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Perform manual and automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products according to specifications. Ensure all assembled, filled, packaged, and labeled products meet established quality standards. Serve as the primary performer of in-process inspections and Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) inspections. Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products based on inspection results and documented criteria. Perform computer-related tasks, including signing in to jobs, recording in-process actions, and entering data accurately into electronic systems. Participate in the startup and closure of packaging jobs, ensuring all materials, documentation, and equipment are properly handled. Perform component and drug product counts to verify quantities and reconcile materials. Clean packaging rooms, equipment, and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements. Follow all cGMP, safety procedures, work instructions, and knowledge assessments as documented in English work materials. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within required timelines. Take initiative in daily work, follow through on commitments, and adapt to changing priorities or production requirements. Accept and apply feedback related to Corrective or Preventative Actions to improve processes and performance.
