Saturday & Sunday 10:30a-10:45p & Wednesday & Thursday 2:30p-11p - base pay $21.50 + $5 shift differential

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare boxes for production line: record empty weight, add liner, stamp product line, affix product labels Evaluate product visually to ensure appearance is symmetrical and notify Supervisor of any concerns Load finished molded product into boxes or super sacks Sort product that does not meet quality standards, place in re-work bin Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools, or questionable conditions to Supervisor Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; Report any non-conformities Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.) Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others

Physical Requirements:

Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach Able to observe and detect issues Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment - daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)
