Job Description Responsible for making sure the egg flats are washed, stacked and cleaned properly. Also responsible for monitoring the loader to keep the line running smoothly and efficiently. Egg flats require washing before they go back to the farm. This position is responsible to set up and run the machine that washes the flats, stack them properly on pallets, and to monitor the egg loader to keep the conveyor line running smoothly and efficiently.

Work schedule:

Days - Sunday to Thursday Hours - 8:50 pm to approximately 6:30 am or until finished with the days orders.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Set up machine prior to start of shift Remove the returned flats from the line and run them through the flat washer to be cleaned. Wash and dry plastic flats. Assist in solving issues with the loader and flat washing machine to minimize downtime Maintain a safe working environment Keep all guards on the machine while running equipment. Assist in clearing loader jams when necessary Clean work area throughout the shift and at the end of the shift Perform any and all duties assigned by the Production Manager

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Must be patient and be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be able to work as a team. Must have the ability to prioritize. Must have good communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively. Ability to handle a pallet jack in a safe manner. Stand for a 10-hour shift. Must be able to reach, bend, kneel and twist frequently. Lift above shoulder level occasionally. OTHER Must wear non-slip steel/composite-toed boots (Required) Must wear a hairnet when required.
