REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• This position requires accuracy and responsibility as many duties must be performed without close supervision
• Training and/or experience using measuring equipment and reading drawings is needed.
• Minimum 1 year experience with conventional machine tools.

What will your typical day look like? Capable of running small conventional machine tools (drill press, grinder, kick press, tumbler.) per instructions. Capable of measuring parts utilizing micrometers, calipers, depth gages, height gage, etc. What about the physical demands of the job? Have the ability to routinely lift up to 40 pounds Be able to stand for extended periods Basic reaching, crouching, bending You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
