BAND OPERATOR

Role Responsibilities:

Received instructions and schedules from plant supervision. Adheres to Contech's Employee Expectations. Completes pre-shift daily audit. Selects correct sheet type/length based off of daily band schedule. Operates Forklift, coil buggy, or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls. Adjusts rolls to form correct diameter. Feeds band sheet into roll form. Spot welds or hand welds various types of fasteners to formed band sheet. Paints welds if necessary. Moves finished product to designated areas. Completes production/quality control paperwork. Completes post-shift daily paperwork. Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Other duties assigned.
