SHERIDAN HANOVER, PA MACHINE OPERATOR, 3RD SHIFT

(12AM-8AM) Plus an 8% night shift bonus

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the mailing machine as well as leading the machine crew to ensure all customer mail schedules are met.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepare mailing machine for job run. Monitor and feed machine during job run. Complete necessary paperwork and workflow transactions as they relate to mailing information. Maintain inventory records of spare parts for the machine. Perform routine maintenance on machines. Assist in the training of new hires within the area of responsibility. Lead and direct crew to ensure timely and accurate completion of all job runs.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal communication skills Previous machine operating experience Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills Mechanical ability and machine trouble shooting skills

Desired Skills and Abilities:

Leadership experience Knowledge of postal regulations Knowledge of Mail Line equipment Physical Requirements Ability to constantly stand and navigate the department and facility.
