Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Packaging Operator for a contract, temp-to-hire opportunity in Hazleton, PA. This role is a strong fit for someone with production, packaging, or manufacturing experience who takes pride in quality work, safe operations, and being part of a reliable team. As a Packaging Operator, you will help support daily production by operating packaging equipment, inspecting finished products, following GMP and food safety guidelines, and helping the team meet production goals. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies, SOPs, and production standards.
  • Package finished products according to established specifications, quality requirements, and food safety expectations.
  • Inspect products and packaging for accuracy, consistency, quality, and product integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following Good Housekeeping Practices, GMPs, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, food safety risks, or unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor or management.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals while supporting safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $14.00 per hour.
