As a machine operator you would operate programmed machine to cut metal pieces.
Responsibilities:
Ensure machinery is in good working order before set up
Set up machinery to successfully conduct jobs as specified
Change parts when needed
Read and follow shop tickets for each part
Measure parts and ensure they are the correct sizes
Document sizing of parts
Perform all necessary machine maintenance
Follow safety standards at all times
Report any safety or maintenance concerns to management immediately
Ensure all work areas are clean and organized
