Starting Payrate:
$26/HR Attractive work hours! Work 36 hours per week and get paid for 40 hours per week Dairy Farmers of America is looking for highly dependable team player to join our staff as a
SKILLED MACHINE OPERATOR
to run equipment on the Front End of our Production lines which would include Fillers, PODS, Retorts. Positions available on day and night shifts. Shifts are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday OR Thursday Friday and Saturday. Day Shift is 6:00AM
  • 6:30PM. Night Shift is 6:00PM
  • 6:30AM. All Crews in Production are required to work an occasional Sunday
  • which are preplanned.
Work three 12 hours shifts each week and get paid for 40 hours.
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Operating Filler, PODS or Retorts Troubleshooting, performing minor maintenance repairs and inputting items into the SAP system. Engage in problem solving to assist in improving safety, quality, yields and productivity. Maintain accurate production records that are written, and computer based. Review charts, screens, quality check sheets and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format. Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment. Assist with training efforts in functional area as needed Maintain a high level of safety and quality awareness and a high degree of urgency. Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Follows all DFA GMP's and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements High School Diploma/GED 1-3 years prior manufacturing experience required Food & bottling experience preferred. Ability to learn and apply to plant environment. Be an effective communicator. Ability to multi-task. Solid PC skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English. An Equal Opportunity Employer
