Job Description

American Custom Drying located in Mountain Top, PA is looking for a responsible leader to join our team as a Blending Room Operator. The Operator oversees and operates the blending equipment in a food grade sanitary environment. This role leads a team responsible for blending and milling powder ingredients and filling bulk packaging.
Essential Job Functions:
Operate the production line. Maintain a log of all ingredients used in the milling and blending process. Complete relevant paperwork and production logs in accordance with SOP's. Inspect and verify the accuracy of all raw materials and components prior to production. Ensure that the product is produced and packaged according to the customer requirements and batch sheets. Identify, correct, and log all errors in production. Physically able to fill, lift, move and palletize up to 55 lbs. bags throughout the required shift. Dismantle, clean and assemble production equipment in an organized manner and in accordance with all SOPs. Maintain a clean, organized GMP environment at all times. Be willing and able to work various shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Blending or liquid batching experience is a plus. Basic understanding of production equipment, regulations, and paperwork. Ability to use PLCs, computers, and software. Able to lift and move up to 55 lbs. bags throughout the shift. High school diploma (or equivalent).
