Job Description

First Shift:
Monday to Thursday 5am-300pm Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products meet quality standards while efficiently operating various machinery. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Duties Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications. Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials as needed. Operators may pull yarn, thread, or fabric through needles, guides and machine rollers of equipment Monitor machines operations for quality defects in materials Start/Stop machine as needed to add fill yarn or make adjustments to ensure the machine is functioning properly Inspect machine to determine if repairs are needed and notify appropriate personnel. Process orders and check for defects and inspect products to specification on job sheet Follow directions and complete assignments per job order paperwork Support all 5S activities All materials supplied are maintained for the area, including yarn, tubes, etc Remove all yarn, etc, when the job is complete Participate in 5S audits Support the AS9100 quality management system Keep work area neat and clean Other responsibilities as required by management Experience Mechanical acumen a plus. General knowledge of textile processes Cultural awareness and sensitivity Active listening
