Job Description

Full time Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm The foaming associate is responsible for: Properly setup and prepare the department each morning for the day's production, including the retrieval of all needed raw materials. Setup and calibrate the dispensing equipment, placing floor matting in the desired location, and preparing the correct molds for the day's production. Safely and efficiently produce quality RIM molded products throughout each day by inspecting, correctly heating, waxing, and placing product in each mold prior to pouring foam into the mold to reduce air pockets or other imperfections, clamping the mold and allowing the foam to cure. Maintain the dispensing equipment to ensure its efficient and continued operation by correctly disassembling the machine head each day, thoroughly removing all excess raw materials from each component, lubricating the appropriate mechanisms, replacing worn components, and ensuring the water tank remains full for proper purging. Properly measure separate foam components, combine and manually mix in preparation for pouring into a prepared mold or subassembly Communicate clearly with Research and Development regarding mold performance. Properly shut down, organize and clean the production area at the end of each day. Other duties as assigned
