Grosfillex Injection and Extrusion Technician Grosfillex is a 99-year old company with a presence in PA for 57 years. We currently have openings for an Injection and Extrusion Technician on the 2nd Shift (3:00-11:00) in our Robesonia location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and maintain plastic injection and plastic extrusion equipment/processes, including all supporting equipment (robots, molds, dies, material feeders, dryers, compounders, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, etc.). Operate and maintain other automated industrial equipment (overhead cranes, conveyors, packaging equipment, forklifts, etc.). Maintain product quality and troubleshoot technical issues with the production process. Perform in-process Quality testing. Perform machine maintenance, both preventative and unplanned. Maintain written records of all process changes and equipment repair activities. Communicate relevant information about the running of the shift to staff on the next shift. Work from verbal and written instructions (in English). Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Manage the work of others, as required, including orienting new employees to the workplace. Freely share technical knowledge with co-workers. Continuously learn and master a wide variety of new skills. Demonstrate a generous approach to teamwork. Fill in for other positions (operators, material handlers) on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal technical training or the equivalent on-the-job experience Computer skills as necessary to communicate with/operate complex automated equipment Physical abilities as required by the job - These include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, lifting, and working out of doors.
