$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.(Onsite) Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking an entry-level Assembly Operator I to prepare equipment, assemble products, perform quality inspections, and document production results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Primary Responsibilities Prepare machines and equipment for daily operations. Perform quality checks throughout the production process. Use inspection tools and complete quality inspection documentation independently. Understand and use gauging and visual inspection equipment. Identify product defects and complete required documentation and notifications. Communicate operational issues to the setup technician, technician, or supervisor. Make necessary process adjustments when appropriate. Perform work checks to ensure products meet established quality standards. Read and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, written instructions, and procedures. Assemble products accurately according to documented requirements. Maintain attention to detail while performing repetitive hand-work tasks. Rotate between duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working with mechanical systems preferred. Ability to use inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspections. Proven ability to collect and use inspection data. Basic computer navigation and utilization skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn and advance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Safely and reliably lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Push or pull up to 180 pounds with the assistance of a hand dolly. Perform repetitive hand movements. Frequently stand, sit, walk, and balance throughout the shift. Work 8-10 hours as required.
