Shifts:

Monday- Friday-Some OT available on Saturdays as well.

Two rotating shifts required:

7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm shifts •Must be able to work the occasional 3rd shift as well- 11pm-7am •Shifts rotate on a weekly basis! This is a temp to hire role for candidates and meant to be a long-term role with entry into the union to be expected.

Job Summary:

Union shop in Saxonburg is looking for skilled machine operators to keep machines running smoothly and to make sure that production lines in an extrusion department are running. Looking for someone who has experience working with mechanics. Someone who is good at taking things apart and putting them back together will be a good fit for the roles available. Will likely be working in a variety of different roles ranging from learning to operate a press, a kiln, firing products, checking for quality control elements and so forth. These are labor-intensive roles that require lifting upwards of 100 pounds and able to carry at least 50 pounds on a repetitive basis. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not necessary. Skills gained in labor positions in construction or farm work will be considered.

Requirements:

Manufacturing or other labor type experience is strongly preferred! Forklift Experience Preferred These jobs require lifting up to 100 pounds and carrying upwards of 50 pounds. Must have a GED or High School Diploma Must pass a drug screen and meet background check requirements. Must wear steel toed boots.
