Dye Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description
Job Description Lift dry and wet fabric, up to 50 lbs repetitively, to set up for dyeing process and after process is complete Work in a humid/wet environment Move wheeled boxes of both dry and wet fabric. Retrieve dye directions from computer Read and understand dye slip instructions, in English Evaluate product for defects before and after processing Troubleshoot during process Handle, measure, dispense chemicals and dyes Other tasks assigned at the managers discretion Job Requirements Read and understand English Lift 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift Push/Pull wheeled boxes of both dry and wet fabric from one area of plant to another. Stand for most of the shift Operate various tow motor vehicles (will be trained)
Wear PPE:
safety glasses, hearing protection, rubber boots, appropriate protection when handling chemicals and dyes (aprons, gloves) Participate in safety training (as a class and as a webinar) Communicate with peers and supervisors about problems that arise during processing Legible handwriting Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Work 8-12 hour shifts and overtimeCareer Insights for Textile Machine Operator
