Full Job Description Job Purpose:
The Road Saw Operator is responsible for cutting, drilling, and removing concrete and other materials in the field, typically for utility construction, repair, or maintenance projects. This role requires both mechanical skill and the ability to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Safely operates road saw to make accurate cuts per project needs Accurately locates and measures site to be cut Transports equipment between yard and job site daily Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and calling for repairs Safely identify PA1 call markings prior to cutting Responsible for site and public safety Meets daily production expectations Completion of daily logs and production paperwork Performs related duties as assigned Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures Education, Skills and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to follow direction 1 year minimum of road saw operating experience Ability to read a tape measurer Knowledge of job site and public safety Driver's License required Ability to tow and maneuver a trailer Knowledge of PA1 call markings
