Job Description

Serving the area since 1924, the R.I. Lampus Company has made a name for itself by providing the best service and products to its customers. We provide innovative outdoor living, hardscape, and masonry products and are one of the largest tri-state distributors of clay brick and stone veneer products. Our employees are proud to be a part of our history and commitment to quality. We are currently looking for a Machine Operator.
THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION
from 3:30pm-1:00am Monday through Friday. Must be able to work Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Set up equipment for production runs Operate, maintain, and perform basic repairs on production equipment as needed Understand cube patterns and safely operate Paco/Columbia equipment Build cubes according to company specifications and quality standards Assist with general plant operations and other assigned duties Work effectively with team members in a collaborative environment Follow directions and complete tasks assigned by supervisors Adhere to all company policies, work rules, and operating procedures Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and procedures Perform the physical requirements of the job, including frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
Education & Experience:
Previous CMU production experience is preferred but not required High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed
