Job Description
Bakerly is seeking a Machine Operator to support our French-inspired bakery production. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor packaging and baking machinery to produce crepes, brioches, and other baked goods. You'll follow production schedules, adjust machine settings, and perform routine quality checks to ensure consistent texture, flavor, and presentation. Responsibilities include basic equipment maintenance, safe handling of ingredients, accurate documentation of production data, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. You'll work closely with a friendly, collaborative team, with opportunities to grow as Bakerly's brand continues to expand. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor bakery and packaging machines according to production schedules Perform routine quality checks on products for weight, appearance, and packaging integrity Adjust machine settings to maintain efficiency and product specifications Follow GMP, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times Perform basic preventive maintenance and report mechanical issues Accurately record production data, downtime, and materials usage Handle ingredients and materials safely, minimizing waste Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet daily production targets Required Skills Machine operation Food production processes Equipment setup and calibration Basic mechanical troubleshooting Quality control inspection GMP and food safety compliance Sanitation procedures Production documentation Packing and labeling Basic computer skills
