Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Milk Plant Gallon Filler Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the gallon filling machinery within a clean, regulated environment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality dairy products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, adhere to safety and sanitation standards, and support quality control processes. Responsibilities Operate gallon filling equipment with precision, ensuring accurate filling volumes and consistent product quality Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and making minor repairs Follow strict sanitation and sanitation protocols, including cleaning equipment and work areas in compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards Assist in the setup, adjustment, and calibration of machinery to meet production specifications Handle materials safely using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safety guidelines Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any deviations or defects Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine performance, and sanitation procedures Support packaging operations by ensuring proper assembly of gallon containers and related materials handling tasks Follow all safety procedures related to machinery operation, sanitation, and warehouse practices Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production goals efficiently Skills Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse handling equipment Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing machinery and machining processes Experience with sanitation procedures within a cleanroom environment Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality control protocols Basic math skills for measurements, adjustments, and inventory management Knowledge of packaging processes specific to dairy or food manufacturing industries Strong understanding of materials handling, assembly, and manufacturing workflows Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment issues quickly and effectively Prior warehouse experience preferred; excellent attention to detail essential for maintaining product quality standards
