Machine Operator

Job Title:

Machine Operator Job Description This role involves hands-on mechanical and light electrical assembly supporting the production of brushless DC motors within a structured manufacturing environment. The position is pivotal in supporting the production of small drone engines. Responsibilities Assemble motor components including stators, rotors, housings, shafts, and bearings. Follow detailed work instructions, torque specifications, and standard operating processes. Perform light electrical assembly including wire soldering and connector installation. Operate basic assembly equipment such as presses, fixtures, and balancing equipment as trained. Conduct in-process inspections and basic quality checks. Accurately record production and traceability data. Identify and escalate defects or process deviations. Maintain 5S workstation standards and comply with all safety and PPE requirements. Essential Skills 1-3 years of electrical assembly or machine operation experience.

For Lead Technician:

5+ years of experience. Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience preferred. 1+ year soldering experience for Machine Operator.

For Lead Technician:

5+ years of soldering experience. Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. Understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical components. High school diploma or GED. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in ISO or quality-controlled manufacturing environments. Electric motor or electromechanical assembly experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a fast-paced production floor on an assembly line in a conditioned warehouse. Tasks are repetitive and require manual dexterity. Safety equipment such as safety glasses and gloves are mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tobyhanna, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.74 - $26.02/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
