Control number 868330900 This job is open to Help The public U.S. Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Duties Help Perform installion access control for pedestrians and vehicles utilizing standard opering procedures, written orders and regulory requirements. Resolve standard procedural and non-recurring or access assignments in support of the Visitor Control Center. Serve as a member of the installion's overall security response capability during actual or simuled incidents. Regule pedestrian and vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and to ease congestion and parking problems. Incumbent must be able to obtain and sustain ste certificion for opering the Nional Crime Informion Center (NCIC) terminals. IAW AR 190-56, requirements of Individual Reliability Program apply. Shift work is required, or a change in work shift may be necessary. Hours of work encompass fluctuing tours of duty to include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required as directed and is subject to recall for periods of emergency overtime. Must be proficient in the use of assigned firearms/weapons, pass an initial qualificion, and must qualify semi-annually thereafter in the use of assigned firearms/weapons. "The Army Civilian Police and Security Guard Program". Must successfully complete security guard training. Must be trained and maintain current required certificions in CPR techniques and must know first aid. May act as a first responder in a medical emergency. Required to wear chemical protection masks, gloves, and other protective equipment, and may be required to be certified in the use of aerosol irritants and bon. Maintain physical conditioning and pass an annual physical agility test (PAT). Must be fully qualified to opere a government vehicle. Must possess and maintain a valid ste driver's license. Loss of license may result in removal from the position. Must wear the Department of the Army Security Guard (DASG) uniform IAW AR 190-56, maintain a high ste of appearance and hygiene. Obtain and maintain applicable certificions in opering various electronic equipment and sensors. Must not have any medical condition th precludes the wearing of a chemical protective mask and over garments. Must be able to perform as a member of the installion's overall security response capability.
