DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates mono/co-ex extruder Reads job specs and procures all applicable tooling Sets up machine to accommodate for job orders and specs in the production run Conducts machine adjustments as needed to meet customer specifications Performs quality checks for compliance to customer specifications and quality standards Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices Other duties as assigned Qualifications Mechanical knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes Proficiency in plastics injection molding and extrusion Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and CNC machinery Skills in quality inspection and precision measuring instruments Experience with hand tools and materials handling Basic math skills and understanding of lean manufacturing principles Summary As a Plastic Extruder Operator, you will be essential in the manufacturing process, responsible for setting up and operating extrusion machinery to produce plastic products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and skills in plastics extrusion and injection molding to ensure high-quality output.
