Job Title:
Blending Machine Operator Job Description Join our team as a Blending Machine Operator, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment. You will be responsible for operating blending machines and handling packaging tasks to ensure products meet quality standards. Responsibilities Operate blending machines to dispense powder into bags. Palletize bags for continuous shipment. Perform lifting and stacking of bags weighing 50+ lbs. Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards. Weigh bags to ensure the correct amount is dispensed. Perform basic mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Essential Skills Experience in production and food manufacturing. General labor skills including forklift operation. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting. Experience in the food industry is preferred. Prior forklift experience is a plus, or a willingness to learn forklift operation. Why Work Here? Gloves and hair nets are provided. You will work in a blending room with 1-2 other people, handling tasks such as filling bags from a funnel, weighing, sealing, and stacking products. Expect to stand, bend, lift, and move 50 lbs bags throughout your workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofSLEEPY EYE, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
