Job Description

Flexible Flyer and Poster Runner at FlyerDuty FlyerDuty Atlanta, GA Job Details Contract 18 hours ago Qualifications Community engagement canvassing Non-profit outreach canvassing Canvassing for political campaigns Attention to detail Promotional material distribution Print quality checks Ability to follow instructions Canvassing for sales campaigns Event promotion canvassing Mobile devices Full Job Description About the opportunity As a FlyerDuty Runner, you help local businesses promote their services and events by distributing flyers and delivering printed advertising materials to participating venues. We're recruiting Runners for our first pilot in Lawrenceville and nearby OTP East communities. This opportunity may suit someone who enjoys working independently, knows the area, and wants to build relationships with local businesses. You choose which assignments to accept after reviewing the instructions, deadline, and payout. There are no required shifts or quotas. Work may not be available immediately after signup, and hours, assignments, and earnings are not guaranteed. Recommended setup Having your own printing setup can help you prepare materials and deliver directly to venues without arranging a print-shop pickup. Use a reliable color inkjet or laser printer that supports the jobs you want to accept. Check the requested paper size, stock, color, and quantity before claiming printing work. Campaign formats include 4 x 6-inch flyers and 11 x 17-inch posters. Larger posters require suitable equipment or a print shop. Keep enough paper and ink or toner available for accepted assignments. Have a suitable paper cutter if your printing method requires trimming. Check a sample at 100% scale and test its QR code before printing the full batch. Include materials, trimming, reprints, and your time when deciding whether a printing fee works for you. Owning a printer is recommended for people interested in printing work, but it is not required to join. You can use a local print shop or choose prepaid pickup and delivery assignments. You do not need to buy equipment before exploring the opportunity. Bring your local knowledge If you know businesses, organizations, or event organizers that need flyers circulated, we encourage you to introduce them to FlyerDuty. This can help get opportunities started while we build local demand. Think about businesses opening nearby, upcoming events, classes, promotions, and local services. Explain how FlyerDuty connects advertisers with people who distribute materials and participating venues that display campaigns. Direct interested advertisers to FlyerDuty to review the service and create a campaign. Be clear about what the service offers without promising sales, attendance, or other results. Finding clients is not required. FlyerDuty is also working to bring advertisers onto the platform. Introducing a business does not guarantee that it will book a campaign or that you will receive an assignment. Responsibilities Distribute flyers through handout or dropoff campaigns. Follow campaign routes, address lists, and placement instructions. Print materials yourself or arrange suitable printing when required. Deliver printed materials to businesses in FlyerDuty's Affiliate network. Collect prepaid print-shop orders when you choose pickup and delivery work. Submit the required photo or video proof. Complete accepted assignments by their deadlines. Communicate promptly about problems. Respect property owners, access instructions, and permission requirements. Affiliates are participating businesses that display campaigns in approved spaces such as windows, counters, and noticeboards. What you need to succeed A smartphone with internet access and a camera. A reliable way to reach the assignments you accept. The ability to complete the walking, standing, and carrying involved in your chosen work. Attention to detail and the ability to follow written instructions. Dependable timing and clear communication. Completed identity verification during onboarding. Check deadlines, shop opening hours, and venue receiving times before setting out. Work independently or build a street team Choose assignments that fit your location, schedule, and equipment. Work on your own or start your own street team within FlyerDuty to coordinate distribution work. Accept only the work you can complete as agreed. Compensation Compensation is per assignment, with no guaranteed hourly wage. Distribution payouts vary by campaign. For print-and-deliver work, set your printing fee within the venue's maximum before claiming. Delivery pay is shown separately. Prepaid pickup and delivery runs currently list $7.00 plus $1.25 per mile, calculated from the print shop to the venue. Review each assignment's payout and requirements before accepting. Printing and travel expenses affect your net earnings. How to get started Visit https://flyerduty.com and create an account as a Runner. Follow the onboarding steps and complete identity verification. Once onboarding is complete, browse available assignments and choose work that fits your area, schedule, and equipment. No resume or separate application is needed. Signing up does not guarantee immediate work. Please note that this is not a full-time role. You will be part of a pilot program that lays the groundwork for FlyerDuty's future, so work availability is not guaranteed. While waiting for FlyerDuty opportunities to ramp up, explore the platform and read all resources including arrangements for your own printing, and how to use FlyerDuty as a whole. Application Question(s): Are you familiar with permitted areas to hand out flyers in the Atlanta metro area? Are you able to work independently (i.e. setting your own rates for each job, communicate with clients without needing to ask questions, finding opportunities beyond FlyerDuty's scope of work and refer them to the platform)? Please be aware that FlyerDuty is soft launching. With your interest, you are going to be part of a pilot program that may be slow to start. During this time, you are able to arrange your own printing, explore the platform at your own pace. If you are wanting opportunities immediately, this is not the opportunity. Are you okay with waiting while FlyerDuty ramps up? After applying, please visit https://flyerduty.com/sign-up to sign up as a Runner. Thank you for your interest!
