Job Description
Douglas Construction is seeking to hire a talented and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to facilitate in the execution of a wide variety of project components. Applicants must be licensed in RI with a valid DOT Medical Card. Experience with Bull Dozers, Front End Loaders, Excavators and Skid Steers is required. Douglas Construction is a local family run business that has been in the construction industry since 1959. Today we specialize in commercial construction in the areas of site-work, concrete and carpentry. As a Heavy Equipment Operator you would work on various Commercial Construction duties: Site ground work preparation in and out of the machine Underground utility installation for water pipe, sewer pipe, drainage pipe Concrete structure ground installation Building foundation excavation Setting and maintaining grades with use of laser tools Material loading and processing Maintaining a clean and organized job site General construction labor tasks will be required as needed
