Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team in Woonsocket, RI. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating stretch break equipment to efficiently break down and strengthen threads of carbon fiber. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to pull materials, set up the machine, and monitor its operation during run time. Expect frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and basic hand dexterity as part of your daily routine. Responsibilities Operate stretch break equipment effectively and efficiently. Break down and strengthen threads of carbon fiber. Pull materials and set up machinery for production. Monitor equipment during its run time for optimal performance. Perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and twisting. Utilize basic hand dexterity in everyday tasks. Essential Skills Previous manufacturing experience of 6+ months. Experience in running and troubleshooting machinery. Strong attention to detail and patience. Ability to perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working with various levels of PPE. Capability to work with itchy materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, machine operation, general labor. Inspection and blueprint reading skills. The role involves handling carbon fiber materials, which may cause itchiness during initial weeks. The position offers 6 openings with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woonsocket, RI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
