$19.12/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Premium for 3rd Shift (effective October)

Schedule:

3rd

Shift:

10:00 PM

•6:30 AM

Monday through Friday

Weekend overtime may be required based on production needs

HTI is hiring Grinding Machine Operators (B Operators) for a well-established manufacturing facility in Blythewood, SC. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality bearing components by operating and monitoring grinding machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do

Operate grinding machines and automated production equipment

Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed

Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met

Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product specifications

Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements

Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties

Record production information and quality results throughout the shift

Handle scrap and non-conforming parts according to company procedures

Maintain accurate production and traceability records

Assist with training new team members when needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

At least 1 year of continuous employment with your current employer

OR

If currently unemployed, you must have been unemployed for less than 3 months and have at least 1 year of continuous employment with your most recent employer

Must have prior machine operator experience

Preferred Experience

Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience

Experience using measuring equipment such as gauges, dial indicators, or calipers

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, and work throughout a full shift

Occasional pushing and pulling of material containers and product baskets

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

Climate conditions typical of a manufacturing facility

Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:

Safety glasses

Hearing protection

Steel-toe or safety shoes
