Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Color Matching and Coatings Operator to join our manufacturing team. The current opening is from 6p - 6a. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring precise color matching and applying coatings to various products in accordance with strict quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality finished goods that meet customer specifications and industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities Operate color matching equipment and coating machinery following manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and
ISO 9000
standards. Accurately mix and match colors using laboratory and industrial chemical handling techniques, ensuring consistency across production batches. Handle industrial chemicals safely, adhering to regulatory compliance standards, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain detailed records of color formulations, coating parameters, and batch documentation for audits and quality control purposes. Follow safety protocols diligently during chemical agent handling, material handling, and manufacturing processes to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within printing or industrial chemical manufacturing facilities. Laboratory experience with color matching techniques or chemical analysis. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, machining processes, and equipment troubleshooting. Basic math skills for measurements, formulations, and quality assessments. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Ability to handle industrial chemicals safely while following strict safety protocols including respiratory protection and PPE usage. High school diploma or GED required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. 51 - 125 lbs with assistance. Pay:
$23.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
