Job Summary Full job description Electrolock is a manufacturer of high-quality film products for the aerospace and advanced composites industry. Applicants should be motivated self-starters and comfortable working in a production based, autonomous environment around heavy slitting equipment. Experience working with computers and mathematical data, minor data entry, and an understanding of basic mechanical principles is required. Specific slitting experience is not required. Applicants must be comfortable with rotating responsibilities from machine operation, packaging and shipping, some cleaning and data entry/quality control. Must be a team player capable of covering the necessary details to get the job done right.
Position Summary:
Perform labeling and pack-out of finished products from the slitting department. Support slitter machine setup and teardown activities, raw material handling, and general production support while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Move finished goods from slitting machines to designated pack-out areas
  • Label and package finished products in accordance with internal specifications and customer requirements
  • Assist with setup, operation, and teardown of slitting equipment to meet quality and productivity standards -
  • Retrieve and stage raw materials as needed for production
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Communicate daily with management, lead personnel, maintenance, and shift teams
  • Maintain housekeeping standards around slitting equipment and pack-out areas
  • Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and OSHA requirements
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as gauges and calipers
  • Strong math skills and ability to interpret measurements
  • Experience (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing experience: 2+ years
  • Machining or slitting experience: preferred but not required
  • Shop math experience: 2+ years Job Details
