• 5:00 AM (overtime as needed) $18.00

Job Responsibilities:

Set up machines and change tooling or saw blades to grind and cut steel Operate specialized saws and hand tools Load and unload steel materials from machines Use calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate measurements Read and interpret industrial knife blueprints Perform quality checks on finished products Complete Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts for assigned tasks Add coolant to machines and remove swarf as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Operate forklifts or become certified Work with a strong sense of urgency to meet production demands Follow all PPE and safety requirements Participate in Lean manufacturing and safety training Cross-train in other roles as needed Assist with training and supporting team members Perform other duties as assigned Machine Operator•

Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to input data accurately into ERP systems Use calipers and micrometers to ensure accurate measurements Read and interpret blueprints Basic proficiency with Microsoft Teams and email Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to meet daily production and customer demands Must be able to read and speak English Basic math skills required, including fractions and decimals Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
