Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Print Operator and become a vital part of the manufacturing process that brings creative visions to life! In this energetic role, you'll operate and maintain a variety of printing equipment, including large-format printers, digital presses, and screen printing machines. Your expertise in color management, graphic design, and mechanical adjustments will ensure high-quality production of print materials such as banners, signage, marketing collateral, and packaging. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your technical proficiency and attention to detail will drive the success of our print projects from start to finish. Duties Operate and monitor various printing machinery including large-format printers, flexo presses, digital printers, and screen printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. Manage color accuracy through precise color management techniques and calibration processes to ensure consistent output across all projects. Interpret production documents and specifications accurately to set up machines for each job, adjusting settings as needed for optimal results. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical adjustments on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency. Execute finishing tasks such as cutting, paper binding, layout design, and other post-printing processes to prepare finished products for delivery or distribution. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with graphic designers using Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software to review layouts and prepare files for printing. Requirements Proven experience operating industrial printing equipment including large-format printers, flexo presses, or digital printing machines. Strong knowledge of color management techniques and prepress software used in print production. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Familiarity with graphic design principles, layout design, and print advertising concepts. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control. Basic understanding of machining processes related to cutting, binding, and finishing printed materials.
