Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Chemical Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for manufacturing, packaging, material handling, documentation, and equipment support while maintaining compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Rotating 12-
Hour Swing Shift Day Shift:
6:30 AM - 7:00
PM Night Shift:
6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Rotating schedule alternating between day and night shifts
Interview Process:
One 30-minute onsite interview
Position Summary:
The Chemical Manufacturing Technician will support the production and packaging of chemical products according to established procedures and quality standards. This role requires operating production equipment, transporting materials, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Responsibilities Perform production and packaging operations according to current manufacturing procedures. Transport chemicals, materials, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, pumps, piping systems, and other material handling equipment. Monitor product quality and production output throughout the manufacturing process. Complete batch records, production documentation, and required logbooks accurately and completely. Communicate production status, equipment issues, and process deviations to supervisors. Clean production equipment and work areas following manufacturing operations. Coordinate proper waste disposal and complete compliance documentation. Follow all safety procedures, operating guidelines, and quality standards. Properly use, clean, and store required personal protective equipment (PPE). Label equipment, containers, and in-process materials appropriately. Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Forklift experience 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or related industrial experience Ability to lift more than 20 pounds Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Preferred 1-2 years of chemical manufacturing experience Associate degree in Life Sciences or a related field Skills Safe chemical handling practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer proficiency Mechanical aptitude Troubleshooting abilities Organizational and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Work Environment Exposure to chemicals and manufacturing materials Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Forklift operation required Physical position involving standing, walking, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift Pre-employment physical required Sirius Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
